     I swear on me mum I have played every FF game except the XIIIs. I know about Biggs and Wedge in XIII because, despite the Lightning games looking like hot garbage, I still had to read game synopsis and character bios to be absolutely sure I wouldn't want to play.

     I watch Henya the Genius play it and just going to say that the story is really really good. I was a bit on the fence about the actual game play, but it is extremely diverse and some of it is just so hype it is unbelievable.

     Oh and XIV is just amazing. You will have no idea what it felt like to play the ending of EndWalkers after having patiently waited for each expac. Even though it isn't really the "end" of the game, it really feels like a decade worth of story coming to a conclusion in the most absolutely satisfying way possible. Sucks that most of the playerbase are terrible now, but Squenix really went out of their way to court the audience they have and it has paid off very well for them.

     I rented it for my XBone, but honestly found it really shallow. I did a tier list a while back I can post when I get home, but my favorite game of all time is FFT:WotL. I played the OG FFT on my playstation to death, but WotL is an absolute improvement in every regard outside of performance issues related to the PSP and UMD format not being able to keep up. Emulating WotL fixes the sole issue the game has making it run smooth as butter.
     
     Oh, I haven't played XVI yet since I don't have a PS5 and don't use Riot. As soon as the exclusivity deal with Riot ends I will 100% pick it up.

     Not my favorite class, not my least favorite. Sometimes is is really fun, sometimes it is a chore. Every expac changes it so much that it becomes a hassle to relearn the job and then optimize your rotations.

     @Zealist @pix @Bead @Twoinchdestroya What ruined it for me was the flying car kept running into invisible walls, despite having big boring fields and larping as an """open world game.""" Was still the better than Kingdom Hearts, but they never seemed to perfect that formula until VII Remake where pretending the environments were real and interactable was categorically impossible and I could slash and shoot through invisible hallways with better pacing.
