   I'm sorry, but I'm a professor of rhetoric, and if you think that the solution to the Firehose of Falsehood is more speech, you literally do not understand, at all, how rhetoric or public discourse works, and you should really shut up and sit the ever-loving fuck down.

   Also, please don't mansplain rhetoric to a woman with a PhD in it.

     Hey, y'all, small heads up about Popehat. Thought he was an ally, but I was sadly mistaken.

     Not calling for blocks or dog piling (seriously, frickin' don't) or anything. Just... more evidence that cishet white men can't be trusted to contribute to our safety. 😢
