     If you had told me that in the future I'd need a program that's nearly half the size of a CD-ROM to view and edit text on a constrained resource device with limited battery, memory and CPU I'd think you were having some issues.

     @stefan I don't think that TikTok for Text is going to take off but who knows, maybe going full throttle on the algorithmic timeline despite all the complaints is exactly what people need. Guess we'll find out. :blobcatgooglyshrug:

     @Polychrome I can't tell you, but people seem to like algorithms that shove stuff into their faces.
     
     There are arguments for algorithms yeah. One brought up pixiv which recommends you stuff based on tags and stuff (dunno exactly) or spotify being pretty nice with recommending stuff. So an algorithm has not to be inherently bad, but as is custom with twitter I don't see a "good" algo happen.
     
     They make money by keeping you "engaged" so they enrage you.
