A question:
What is with the vertical lines when plugged into an external display?
14” M1 Pro MBP with HDMI cable in the port going to my Gigabyte G27F.
It’s like it is some weird interlacing going on or something…

@jubjum Unfortunately, it's the only display that I have to hand at the moment.
I use the same cable for the PS5 and it works fine and in other devices. It's just the Macbook.
@padraig hmm…i don’t see that on my external display. tried other displays? or other computers connected to the same display? or different connection instead of hdmi?
@padraig possibly related: https://www.theregister.com/2021/12/03/apple_m1_drivers/
@xenopolysplat It appears to have resolved itself, but holy shit this app is amazing.
The fact that there is no 'UI Scale' for external monitors is kinda infuriating but now having this BetterDisplay, I can now have a 1440p 'UI' on a 1080p monitor. Love it.
