     From the twitter peeps I follow for fire, weather, climate, politics - they have expressed a preference for bluesky.

     Since I'm way down on the waiting list, I can't see or play w/it to get a feel for it.

     #NAFO on Twitter is still strong in spite of the hurdles & glitches.

     My brain is too addled to straddle telegram & discord. I stopped using FB, Insta in 2019.
     I rely on things getting shared in my twitter feed. Especially to monitor fires - I'm in rural N California & citizen reporters are critical for getting timely updates.

     This is my 2nd try at mastering Mastodon.

     People on Bluesky think Bluesky will be the Big Twitter Replacement.

     My bets are on Mastodon/ fediverse.

     Not to mention, if Twitter breaks completely before Bluesky is out of Beta, it has no chance.

     Some new platforms boasting of how quickly they're growing don't acknowledge how much they rely on Twitter to grow. Twitter did it from scratch.

     Q: Will the people go where the Twitter influencers go, or will the Twitter influencers go where the people go?
