Wolfgang LuchtMarie Skłodowska Curie's life ended 89 yrs ago today - one of only 2 persons to have received a Nobel Prize in two distinct disciplines. She was the hero of my youth, not the male physicists, and I owe a lot to the female scientists who were and are my collaborators in research.
