   if we really want to "scale" the fediverse what we need is more community organizers and more tools for those community organizers.

   We get so focused on trying to emulate capitalism that we forget that this space is made of people. If we get community organizers here from every walk of life, then their communities will follow.

   People won't leave the walled gardens, because the community organizers were wooed into how easy it is to do their organizing there.

     @hakan_geijer @nielsa @rose she's insufferable. She once accused me of threatening her for saying something to the effect of "yo you know folks are gonna remember this" when she was embarrassing herself caping for that Lockheed Martin employee.

     Every principled organizer I know with plenty of opsec, cloud infrastructure / security experience has had a very level-headed response about the situation, so thanks Emily but spare us your inaccurate sanctimony
