     At one point they were taking deposits for the first orders. I think that was around 20-25 years ago.

     and when someone hacks the firmware to get more than 110 miles, thats what would happen, too.
     
     an electric donught dropping out of the sky.
     
     
     the problem is with this concept in general:
     
     
     people deal poorly already with 2 dimensions.
     
     handling three: x y and z axis, is only going to work if they cant actually drive themselves while flying.
