Seattle sometimes forgets how great it is that our biggest tourist attraction is actually also genuinely awesome. Pike Place Market is the best. It is a great place to get local food and creative goods. Every time I hear some local try to dis it like it is Times Square, I shake my head. Maybe at crush cruise ship times it can be too packed, but usually it is simply wonderful. I go there every weekday doing preschool drop-off, and it never gets old.
