   Open source, means it can view the source.
   It means you can do stuff with the code if you want, with some limits.

   It does not mean that anything that uses the software, or underlying protocol, has to allow nazis and nazi-enablers to connect with them on it.

   It does not mean we have to consent to being abused by corporate greed and being sold as the product by companies that make money on using us for an advertising platform.

   Just because we have the opportunity to connect with other services and platforms doesn't mean we HAVE TO.
   We already know about the harm Facebook and Instagram causes, e don't have to wait and we and give them a chance to know. They've already shown us who they are.
