USA is a fascist state right now, and I really don't know why we are bothering to listen to Democrats whine about reaching across the aisle still.

Don't come at me and say that Democrats are fighting fascism.

They're not. There is a million things they could have done to prevent things from getting to where it is today, but instead, they served the interests of the corporations and the super wealthy.

And now Republicans are ripping apart every single right and program that aids marginalized populations - causing extreme harm and pushing closer to their genocidal aim.

And yet, I get ridiculous asks for more money from Democrats about how I need to vote for them to "fix this?"

What fixing? Y'all did absolutely GODDAMN NOTHING.

And those that wanted to do something? They had their bills killed by fellow Democrats siding with Republicans.

So yeah. Voting isn't enough.

I'll say that again: VOTING IS NOT ENOUGH.

It Will Never Be Enough.

We gotta rise up and stop this. This is getting bloody, and my people are dying because of the lack of action to stop the increasingly horrifying genocidal fascists that run a huge portion of the USA right now.

So yeah, save it with your fucking "vote out the baddies" speeches, and actually get up and FIGHT.

(I'm chronically ill and am in a wheelchair, but I still try to find ways to fight or help out the mutual aids in town. We all got our small bits to do in the Fight. Some of us are warriors that can get on the front lines and take it to the fascists. Some of us are supporters that support the warriors. Some of us are educators to train us all on the Truth that the fascists are trying to destroy and suppress as much as possible. There's all sorts of roles, but we need to actually ACT.)

Mariame Kaba wrote, "Let this radicalize you rather than lead you to despair." Radicalize us toward demanding and fighting for a just, accessible, equitable, equal, loving, sustainable world for ALL people.

(I really want to live in a true solarpunk world. Seriously. Let's make that reality please.)
