   ok is it possible for a fedi instance using Pleroma or Soapbox to,, not be a nazi instance? Like I figure there are some innocent Pleroma instances out there or something

     @izaya @yassie_j @evesummer soapbox is literally just an alternative frontend tho, they were using mastodon (or its fork) as a backend before, then pleroma because I guess we were more cooperative, and when shit hit the fan they forked pleroma and made "rebased", but i think you can still use soapbox as an alternative frontend on pleroma. I know some people prefer it, but all i hear is that it "looks more modern" or something.

     not sure of any big instances running pleroma any more, a few switched over to akkoma when the split happened, but akkoma doesn't add anything I want so I'm just sticking with pleroma :akko_shrug:

     @evesummer the Plemora / Soapbox folks I know that are good are generally small/single instance. eg @voltrina @izaya and @Erik

     Beyond that, it’s probably worth closer examination.

     it's laid out and behaves similarly to a bunch of modern sites. which is why I dislike it, but also why others like it. I think it's a good option to have tho
