     @spitfire I actually don't give a fuck about student loans and here's why: I got a computer science degree. That was the last degree that they seriously promised would net you a real career if you follow through with getting it. If that actually falls through for basically any reason, it's game over for student loans. No one's paying them back.

     My 66 year old boss won’t retire because he just got a new house and had a pool installed and waiting for stock market to recover. It’s over.

     @spitfire No, what's going to happen if computer science majors default on student loans is everybody is going to refuse to work until there's a student debt jubilee, outright. Public, private, doesn't matter. The loans will get forgiven

     I wish they made a compromise that ended govt backed loans if they forgave current debt or it will raise tuition and happen again. And with all the money sent to Ukraine they could have covered it easy.
