   I tried like six times to beat the Cortex Reaver in a halfway normal way, and then when I just spammed it with EMP grenades and whaled on it with the laser rapier, it just sat there and let me kill it in under 30 seconds.

   I still like System Shock.

     @DarkMahesvara That was the first thing I used to give myself an edge. I read somewhere that mulching the corpse riding inside the Reaver makes it less of a threat, so I EMP stunned it long enough to shred the meat with shotgun rounds, then kept stun locking it and hammering it with the rapier until it died. That fucker was tough.

     @Vidmastereon Maybe I missed that, the fight moved so quickly for me that I never thought to close with it that tightly.

     @japananon it is strange that the cortex reaver has no way to defend itself at point blank range especially when stage 2 and 3 diego has an instant kill melee attack
