@kindafarming I’m picturing an 80’s stereo love testimony, only I’m holding a warehouse fan trying not to get my ponytails caught in the vacuum while enchanting the corn to grow equal and with full measure… dear gosh… I’m a farmer. Lol what song would go with this scenario???
@kindafarming Last year was half circle to test a quick crop. We got about three full cobs, this year was about 4x12 with previous seed to make it hearty and some sweet corn. We don’t get a heavy wind either. I know going more square would round the pollination, but I’m also thinking a daily dose of leaf blower/fan would assist this. We get heavy heat and drought so we keep to a quick producer. We’ve still gotten more since our beginning, thank you fren this is my thought as well. We have yet to get the humidity to water ratio in check. Oft we have blight or leaf molds heavy air moisture with nothing permeating the ground. Summer is boom or bust.
Corn is a PitA... its very hungry and water loving. Make sure to fertilize it heavily. Do you plant in a square or rectangle? Pollination can cause issues with size and development as well.
@kindafarming@bexferalgoddess@lpheathen2 got one of htem purple beans sprouting up so fast he's trying to push off the humidity cover he's like 5 inches tall overnight
