   Kentucky Woman shot Uber driver in El Paso Texas because she saw a sign that said Mexico and thought she was being kidnapped. She wasn't, the Uber driver has since died.
   I went to Google Maps on Hwy 54 to find the exit that triggered her. See below.

   When I saw this story I physically flinched. I never do that, but this one just caught me off guard. Legally allowing guns everywhere, for almost everyone, leads to this.

     he was going to drive her to the end of I-110, and then *sit* in a line of cars waiting to get into Mexico, with a fuckton of *armed* border patrol guards RIGHT THERE inspecting vehicles and asking for passports.

     Yeah, this makes perfect sense as a kidnapping plot.

     How much do we want to bet this person has literally *never* been through a international border crossing before?
