     @jimbob we prefer to call it specialty and don't change. As a drop-in and discover platform we'll still showcase edits or excerpts no problem, it's not the genre it's the format in order to keep things moving, increase diversity for the listener and overall listens for the artists. The tone we are trying to set against the recent grumbles is sorry we just can't be 10 hyper focused genre streams to suit a specific taste, we aren't spotify, and quite happily. Support fedi artists!

     @radiofreefedi thanks for all you do, and as a composer of that long, annoying drone stuff, I think you're right and nobody needs the radio filled with that. It's actually inspiring me to write some snappier, more palatable works for my next album. Literally writing music so it will get played on RadioFreeFedi now 😬
