@playinprogress you could ask the person that wrote the css script for pixelfed if they can write a script for muting specific people i guess.

  @woodbark wait what do you mean? for the future that might be a thing, but in the future I will know to save whatever I want to keep anyways. right now I am mostly partly still hoping I might have overlooked a way to recover past messages :’|

  ufff, I just realized that apparently when I unmute notifications from an account I had previously muted here I cannot recover the pre-muting convos with that account. so muting is not just a potentially temporary not-seeing, but rather a never seeing again. Ouch. Would have saved some stuff first if I had known.
