   I understand wanting to limit the damage that Meta will inevitably cause to the fediverse, but I really don't get some of y'all sneering about how you don't want the type of people who use Meta products to join the fediverse. I mean, wut?

     @BlackAzizAnansi one thing I feel like a lot of people in the anglosphere don't get is that the more you leave the English speaking Internet the more importance Facebook has

     And I think it's bad that it has that influence, which is why I'm here

     But the amount of ñ posting on the fediverse is still very low (and unfortunately very dominated by Spain)
