   I personally miss having easy access to local gig listings, but I don't miss participating in the biggest rotten public form to ever exist. It's not worth it.
   Ever tried the report feature on there for the nastiest shit you'll ever read in your life? I did before I quit, with a 100% failure rate. You know what that place is really facilitating, come on now.

     I get that being off of Facebook can feel isolating to a *lot* of people that are fully ingrained into it, and I get that "but how will I talk with my grandma?" etc. is a legitimate concern for you, but I assure you that your grandma knows how to pick up the phone (give her a ring!)
     There was a whole world before centralised social media and surveillance capitalism, you can behold it with thine own eyes in old films if you don't believe me x
