  Offering Trump a pardon would be a counterintuitive move that might just salvage Biden’s presidency and weaken Trump at the same time.

  @simsa04 my impression: If Biden pardons Trump, he will just tell the story of "see guys, they could not judge me by the evidence, so they tried to get rid of the ruling", take the pardon and just uses something else to continue.
  Problematic angle here seems to be, that trump accepts any decency.
