  @william Apparently it is vastly overpriced which would cost the most popular third party app (Apollo) $20m a year to operate. Redditors claim the purpose of the API pricing is to kill 3rd party apps, not to turn profit.
  The smaller app I use (RedReader) announced that they've received an exemption because the app provides accessibility features. The admin also lied about the Apollo developer blackmailing him publicly and was called out. Reddit mods are shutting down their subs because they rely on 3rd party apps and bots to moderate.
