     Is there an army of pedantic reply gremlins who will descend on you if you don’t? Yes.

     Is there also an army of pedantic reply gremlins who will descend on you if you breathe while posting? Yes.

     Is this actually a norm that Mastodon experts and veterans follow strictly? Good god no.

     Is Poe’s Law worse here than anywhere else on the Internet? Also no.
