     @kaia what in hell is google thinking lately? I can’t think of a better way to deter users who have no idea why suddenly their recommendations suck- and that’s half of what’s left of youtube that other platforms don’t necessarily have.

     I’ve been using the Watch Later playlist and most of my recommendations come from that now. Makes total sense tbh.

     I should move to a frontend soon tbh.

     NewPipe improved and actually plays stuff now. I hope the legal struggle started today with yt-dlp does not change that.

     I really don't understand how your rom was so different I know no case where newpipe doesn't work. And even then you could just download and launch vlc to play the file.
