Today on Assigned, I went through the pieces Emma Green left jumbled in the box for her New Yorker piece on the demise of FAIR and assembled a very simple picture: GOP mega-donors expected every conservative organization to abandon the past moral panic and take up the new one at the snap of their fingers.
