   PSA: If you’re really into music, I highly recommend individually fitted “musician’s earplugs.” They are a big investment (upwards of 200 bucks…yikes), but they don’t muffle the sound like foam earplugs do. It’s truly like turning down a volume knob on the world instead of covering it in a blanket.

     @inthehands I was going to suggest etymotic earplugs but you already know!
     These were perfect when I saw Godspeed you Black emperor in DC.
     I thought the live music was at a perfectly comfortable volume until I listened to the videos I recorded.
