     The government is terrible at keeping secrets.

     What they're good at is:

     * not enforcing the law
     * shielding their friends from accountability
     * abusing the law to their own benefit

     @FortyTwo @obihahn actual conspiracies are things that everyone knows, but the government predends isn't a thing. If they maintain power long enough propoganda becomes truth.
