      　世界初の「歯生え薬」の実用化に向けた研究が、日本のチームによって進められている。先天的に永久歯の数が少ない人に対し、薬を投与して歯を生やすことを目指した治験を2024年7月から始め、30年の実用化を目標とする。動物実験の段階だが、この薬を使って乳歯、永久歯に次ぐ「第3の歯」を生やすことにも成功した
