I know it sounds like hyperbole, but most new houses are literally built with cardboard. It's called cellulose sheathing.

@mattly I do remember the tri-force house! And sadly this stuff is like 1/4" thick, and more importantly... structural. A literal piece of cardboard holding your house up against tornadoes, and the only thing holding water/air/bugs out of your house.
IIRC rabble’s was all post & beam for structure and papercrete/hempcrete for the wall filling.
