     @libreman nah, they have both issues...
     its hard to get omemo working in a group chat on xmpp
     matrix can do encryption easier but its far from perfect for a normal user to handle encryption in matrix and the whole ecosystem is much much bigger

     @libreman As i said, i used both, Matrix is bloat, Xmpp with omemo is borken

     @Jain It's not that hard for XMPP. People with problematic clients need to have their IDs exchanged with other people. It's improving though.
     Matrix is bloated.
