     @meso Yes. That's the purpose of Repack. It will essentially recreate your entire database, one table at a time. When it's working, new rows will write to both copies of the table. Then once the table is done, it will immediately switch over to it.

     @skylar @alex @meso vacuum is still useful but you don't need to do it offline/full unless you have issues. Pretty sure pleroma does it weekly on its own, but the online light succ is pretty necessary for postgres otherwise it'll just keep generating indices that go nowhere

     @meso @7666 @skylar You can run regular vacuum online. But it hardly does anything. Vacuum full needs to be run offline. That's what actually frees up disk space. You CAN run vacuum full concurrently online... but it will absolutely murder your CPU for 3 days straight and may not ever finish, making your site basically unusable even though it's "online"
