When I was still living with my parents, i would listen to music very loud, as a teenager does. and the only band my mum ever liked and sometimes even requested to play: Element of Crime. https://youtu.be/x6QmtxTgPQw
I never had the pleasure of experiencing them live. Only "parts". They are still one of my go to bands and if I ever get the chance to see them I will go. https://youtu.be/9oI27uSzxNQ
For a while this song was soooo stuck in my head. And it still sometimes pops up when things get tooo "routine" or boring. https://youtu.be/RQoVHqveQ98
Tocotronic are the soundtrack of my teenage years. I started listening to them and buying CDs when I was about 10-ish. And I still listen to them all the time. https://youtu.be/8vVjT8xAoD8
Some CDs I "borrowed" from my older brother. One of them: Dummy from Portishead. It also became the soundtrack to my first relationship and for a while I couldn't listen to them at all, but they had me back when they released "Third". https://youtu.be/kBOaLjtR4mw
Always and forever.... At my first festival ever, the very first band I saw, The National. Of course they one of my favourite bands. https://youtu.be/n4M-T2RUgLs
There is a concert recording somewhere from 2008/9(?) in Graz at springfestival, where in the first few seconds one of my friends can be heared screaming "Give it all!". and Digitalism delivered. https://youtu.be/EsIr_en-Tpo
I was in Budapest at Sziget festival on one of the smaller stages, which was kind of a natural amphi theatre at a small hill. It was packed. People were sitting in trees. And on stage there he was, Yann Tiersen. It was one of those most memorable and beautiful concerts ever, that you can't repeat. https://youtu.be/isDvA6FVMHQ
... at some point they were cool. ok?... I still think the music is great and I listen to old albums from Kings of Leon, but they aren't "top" anymore, i'd say. https://youtu.be/EosX5fqTDSk
Zero 7, will always rule the top artist list. I used to listen to them all the time as a teenager and even had them as wake up music for several years. https://youtu.be/pO-3U5m9N0w
