Orcas have sunk 3 boats in Europe and appear to be teaching others on how to do the same. But why?

Scientists believe a traumatised #orca launched the attack on boats during a "critical moment of agony," and that the behaviour is spreading among the population through social learning. 🐳

While reading the article, Frank Schätzing's terrific sci-fi novel, The Swarm, came to mind. All the freak events in the oceans started when #whales began sinking ships. 🤔
