   I recommend that Soapbox admins disable greentext support if you have it enabled. It uses Pleroma FE's vulnerable HTML parser. I am temporarily removing support for it in Soapbox.

     @RealAkoSuminoe @ahmad Oh fuck no, Mastodon is a disaster compared to Pleroma. Pleroma is just suffering from a few bad choices due to severe autism. It can definitely be saved, it's just that nobody will.

     @ahmad @alex This might be a hot take, but we should have forked mastodon instead of pleroma. We would have had the ability to start with a saner database design, too.
