   Hilariously Mumsnet has had some of the best advice in the form of postpartum advice 😅😅🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️ buuuuut...

   if you have had a vaginaplasty & vulvaplasty, and have any tips to share about recovery, operation etc, please do send them my way!

     @rhubi my most important advice would be: in the first weeks of recovery it’s going to seem like you made a huge mistake and the mess down there is never gonna look good. But it will. It takes a really long time before it’s healed to the point where it looks normal. Keep hope 💜

     @rhubi I haven't yet but I have talked to a peer support worker who has. They advised a few things.

     Stay in touch with your health provider and don't worry about contacting them if you think something is wrong.

     Buy ring cushions, lots and lots and lots of of thick pads. Lots more lube than you think a person (or even a group of people) could ever need and a baby changing mat (or two) for your dilations.

     She really stressed the lube thing...
