   i've been thinking about how the iphone really isn't this revolutionary piece of tech that people seem to see it as, it was basically just a PDA that you could call people with (and most smartphones still are just that)

     @mjdxp i heavily agree on that! even before pda's brands were experimenting with so called "palmtops", aka tiny laptops you can take anywhere

     @agatha apple basically took a somewhat niche product mainly used only in the business world and marketed it towards average consumers, that's all they really did
