   Finally started reading this over the past few days. Excellent writing. The parallels between 1930s Germany and the right-wing takeover of American politics of today are uncanny. Scary.

     @therobburgessshow nazi ideology didn’t appear out of thin air. They studied the USA, in particular the Jim Crow era and nationality laws and developed them to meet their own end. Hitler himself, in Mein Kampf described the US as ‘the one state’ that had made progress toward the creation of a healthy racist society. The USA today is not learning from the Nazis as the USA has always been a troubled nation and a hot bed of the far right who just went underground in the mid 60s.
