   @apps Quick question: What is the purpose of the number of characters field on the About Instance dialog of Fedilab?

   Is it only useful to an instance admin, or can it be used by a normal user, in either case, shouldn't it be saved and used, rather than forgotten as soon as you close the dialog?

     It's useful when the app fails to retrieve max chars allowed by the instance.

     But, it doesn't appear to be saved, since the field is empty again if you close the dialog and re-open it.
