     @avadeaux I guess it's part of established American-English-leftist jargon to use the word "labor" metonymically, aiming at either "organized labor" or "the living conditions of workers". I also find that jargon a bit stupid.

     @rasmusfleischer Very insightful and interesting, except that “an economic system that seeks to undermine labor” seems like gibberish to me (isn't the purported necessity of labor a fundament of the capitalist world-view?) and that I resent the allusion that Seinfeld is not a product of genuine human artistry.
