If you ever murder your spouse, make sure you then publish a children’s book about dealing with the grief. It’s the perfect coverup.

It’d still be a coverup tho.

What if you really feel sad about it. Then it would be a book from the heart as opposed to a coverup.

I don’t actually think this is a good coverup btw. She probably would’ve gotten away with it tho if not for a failed attempt to poison him earlier, which he talked about with someone else.

You should never talk to the police at all, even if you’re innocent. It’s not going to help you in any way.

Talking is the biggest danger for amateur criminals. If talking with police, talking is what is often their demise. They should listen what the police have as evidence and then form a prepared statement according to the evidence. When two people have murdered someone the only evidence is often pitting the murderers against each other. In those cases they don't need much evidence as they incriminate each other with detailed admissions. If none had talked they could have walked free. Sometimes little evidence is enough to win a case because of contradictions in the police interviews.
