     When you get older (or sick) you start thinking of such things. Imagine contributing to Star Citizen in 2014. Now you're 8 years older. You know there's a BUNCH of backers that died and never got their jpegs the 3d treatment.

     i'm happy to only buy games after they've come out, and only if the reviews are good. no use making guesses about it years in advance, too many games too little time

     Well yeah but you're saying this in 2022, not in 2014 when a lot of us were more naive.
