     @Madagascar_Sky I'd live them to explain the mechanism by which my Friendica server, which is sitting in a drawer in the next room, starts serving ads.

     Because I sure as fuck don't want their money.

     Seriously, I almost can't believe this person is so drunk on kool-aid that they can't possibly imagine people running a service just because they want to. "If you can't profit off of it, how can it exist?" So thankful I avoided this mindset.
