   Why is Google Registry allowing .zip (compressed file format) as a top level domain?!

   Now when you click Manual.zip for some sketchy item you bought years ago you won't know if it's for a genuine website or malware disguised as a manual zip file...

     Is it still being used? If I remember correctly, only Qt encoded videos use .mov, right?

     Most I see today is .mkv. In Android, its default is .mpg (IIRC).

     Hmm… I guess iOS still use .mov?

     But, yeah, .zip can turn into a big mess. There are already a lot of other good new gTLDs that ended up being blocked because scammers are using those.

     Best way to control it would be to price a .zip domain somewhere U$1000+. ^_^;;
