     @Lizerreal Yes, this is so stupid. People who think that way will actually spend more money trying to make sure that no "undeserving" person gets help. Just let every student at school get a decent lunch, that is cheaper than a complex system to decide who gets lunch and who doesn't.

     @Lizerreal And for some reason, that is more of a concern than "what if we grind someone into the dirt that didn't deserve to be ground into the dirt?"

     @Lizerreal every person I know who identifies with Republican Party feels this way, that someone somewhere is getting something for free they don’t deserve. It’s important for all of us to have health care, community college, child care, it would make us stronger as a nation. Yet those very people who are afraid people may get free stuff, cheat on their own taxes, under report their income, scam merchants on returns, will knock you down to get in line for their benefits.

     @Lizerreal I too struggle with this mentality. I would rather risk helping a few cheaters than let people starve. Remember the same leaders who spread this messaging are the same ones who took PPP loans for millions, squandered the money, and then supported loan forgiveness.
