     To reduce server load, could sharing be daisychained so that trusted instances can shae some of the load?

     same here 🙂

     my greatest problem isn't so much that I need more stuff on my home timeline - that's fine.

     My greatest frustration at this point is that threads aren't displayed. Or only fragments of it.

     The way I used to move around was to read other people's replies, favourite, comment, sometimes visit their profile pages to see what else they had posted, follow them if it was interesting.

     Now all I see is empty profile pages and black void where I *know* there are comments.

     @feditips As I am currently running my own little instance as of just a few days ago, this is timely advice!!
