   Fishing for some #fediverse advice: I want to build an 'agency' hub for artists where...

   - each virtual host has a calendar of events, a contact form, static info pages, photo/video/audio galleries and an rss-equipped blog.
   - individual accts can have within-host discussions, eg event coordination, planning etc.
   - accts are by invitation only

   Kind of like reinventing #Posterous for #ActivityPub, EVERYTHING about that extinct platform is exactly what I'm after.

   Where should I start?

     @teledyn @nextcloud features are very close to you needs but its ActivityPub support is very basic and in beta stage

     @az 'agency' can mean many things, from speaking tour authors or vaudeville animal acts to, yes, an Indie label. Book publishers or record labels have a bigger problem of having 'units' to ship, agencies manage bookings.

     They have common need to
     - showcase specific offerings with bios, galleries, news &c
     - take inquiries into bookings for each
     - present upcoming engagements for each
     - publish online and echo to social media

     Probably other things too, but that's the minimum.

     Depending on scale you could use.

     - An SSG
     - An email list
     - ??? Calendars the harder one.

     Might then also have a peek at the latest iteration of the #Hubzilla project, which is #Streams developed by Mike McGirvin on #Codeberg. It has many federation features that go beyond the capabilities of #ActivityPub (nomadic identity being just one of them).
