   @cstross except that everything I hear still indicates that 3D printing is a hobby of its own and not, to me, an appealing one.

     If you're a TTRPG gamer this must seem like the *best* reason to buy a 3D printer.

     (Wondering if the resolution is high enough to colour-print character and monster figs with decent quality.)
