     @pokkst @jeffcliff the best option I found for situations where XMR is not accepted is https://trocador.app/

     you can anonymously send surveillance coins to anyone using XMR,they have Tor and I2P gateways to their service ass well and give you the best rate out of a bunch of exchanges

     @nosat @jeffcliff Sometime this year (hopefully) LTC MWEB light-wallets will start popping up, which means usage will pick up, and it'll actually be a pretty good privacy tool for places where XMR isn't accepted. Right now since there's practically no usage it is still pretty traceable.
     
     For Bitcoin Cash there's CashFusion coinjoins.

     @jeffcliff I just switched to LTC and BCH for all my surveillance coin needs, and XMR for everything else.

     LTC is much faster with 2.5 minute block times, almost as good as Monero with 2 minute block times.

     Not sure why people are still putting up with BTC at this point, must be just greed.

     those transactions weren't in the backlog not that long ago -- i sent a couple 1 sat / kb txs recently
     
     there's a working market allowing you to trade off cheapness* for transaction speed. You want your txs to go through RIGHT NOW? pay the market rate
