Kid is also the product of a biracial marriage. And this film syncretizes progressive tropes & ideas into one movie. Sustainability vs manifest destiny, vast quantities of acceptance of difference in people, seeing the planet as one living organism. Gorgeous to look at, really cool twist at end...see it!
