   @killick There are some forks of Mastodon like Glitch and Hometown that offer "local only" posting, but if your server is running the main Mastodon code, then no. It's public, unlisted, or only mentioned.

     If I toot to an instance
     (e.g @dmv.community) and select "mentioned people only" will the toot be visible to just members of that instance? And if no, is there a way to toot just to your own instance? #feditips #mastodon
